Rs 2000 riyal Tax imposed for those who do Umrah second time in a year

LAHORE: The Saudi government has declared a condition of two thousand riyals for the new season for the second time, Umrah.

According to Express News, the immediate implementation of the new Umrah policy has also delayed the approval of Umrah petitions and visas. It has been reported that the Saudi government has imposed a tax of 2,000 rupees per person for the second time in a year.

Due to the immediate implementation of the new Umrah policy, the approval of Umrah visas is also delayed due to which Umrah pilgrims could not travel to Saudi Arabia from 1st Muharram as they have been banned from issuing Umrah visas without a package.
